After the scuffle of the Five comes a decision, and it goes your way: a promotion, a tender won, a project accepted, public praise. The Six speaks of visible success: someone pointed at you, someone passed your name along. The card carries a weight as well: from this moment you have an audience that will watch your next step. Recognition does not excuse you from the work. It only raises the stakes.
Six of Wands reversed
Reversed, the result is there but nobody announces it: someone else takes the credit, or the praise stays with you and goes nowhere. It can also be pride after a win, celebrating so loudly that it alienates the people who helped. Sometimes it means a success that does not satisfy.
Symbolism
A rider crowned with laurel sits on a white horse draped in green; a second wreath is tied to his wand. Around him walk people on foot carrying their own wands. They are the ones carrying the procession. The arrangement matters: the hero is visible, but he moves thanks to a group whose faces are barely seen. The horse walks at a slow pace: this is a victory parade, not a charge.
How to read this card in a spread
In the "situation" position the Six says the matter has already been decided in your favor, though you do not always know it yet. In the "action" position it advises showing up with the result: send the summary, claim your visibility. In the "outcome" position it is one of the clearest cards of winning. Next to the Seven of Wands the recognition will soon have to be defended; next to The Tower the announcement comes just as the rest of the foundation is giving way.
